A review of combination adjuvants for malaria vaccines: a promising approach for vaccine development

It is obvious that there a critical need for an efficient malaria vaccine to accelerate eradication. Currently, recombinant subunit vaccination against using proteins and peptides gaining attention. However, one of the major drawbacks this approach lack durable immune response. Therefore, vaccines require adjuvants make sufficiently immunogenic. Considering history RTS,S vaccine, it seems likely no single adjuvant capable eliciting all protective responses required in many malarial use combination will be increasingly important as science advances. In light this, appears identifying most effective mixture with minimal adverse effects offers tremendous opportunities improving efficacy malaria. Owing importance multi-adjuvanted development, review paper outlines some best known used vaccines, focusing on their proposed mechanisms action, immunological properties, notable results. The aim present consolidate these findings aid application experimental vaccines.
